Crochet 101- Individual lessons with Emily!
Want to learn how to crochet? Need to brush up on your crochet skills? Prefer to work one on one than in a class setting? Emily will be giving private crochet lessons on Saturdays during shop hours. We will start off the first Saturday of the month and build from there if lessons are wanted in other techniques!

Embroidery- The Words that Hit Our Hearts

When I was cleaning my garage I found an old journal given to me by my Uncle Russ. I sure do miss him he was amazing- kind, warm, silly, and one of the best laughs ever. Inside was an inscription- one I knew was there and always treasured. While looking at it I thought it would be the perfect embroidery to have. In this class, I will show you various outline stitches that are perfect for lettering. We will also do some watercolor techniques as well. You will bring some words or lettering that's important to you and we will create a beautiful, meaningful piece from it. It could be anything- from a letter, card, old silly note from a friend.
All materials will be included including embroidery hoop, thread/floss, needles, printed pattern, printed instructions of each stitch. This class is suited for beginners. Ages 10 and up! $35/person

Granny Squares!

Let's crochet granny squares!! Come into the world of traditional and non traditional granny squares! Learn the history and leave the class knowing some fabulous new things about crochet! Knowledge of basic crochet- chain, single, half double, double crochet required.

Needle Felted Horses!

In this class you will learn how to make three dimensional objects with wool roving and needle felting techniques . We will make a horse together and creating wire armatures for stability.

Beginner Stumpwork- Making a 3D Flowers!

In this class you will learn how to make three dimensional embroidery called stumpwork. We will each make one flower during this class- the beginning of a fun journey of taking embroidery from 2D to 3D!!

Corner to Corner Crochet!

In this class you will learn the technique- Corner to Corner Crochet! It's a series of crocheting squares starting from the bottom corner and ending at the top corner. It's such a fun technique because it's one that allows you to make graphgans. We will be creating a heart graphgan.

Octopus Painting Class with a TWIST!

A painting with a twist!! Emily will take you step by step creating an adorable octopus painting. The Twist?? We will be sculpting the legs using sculpy- that will look like they will be going in and out of the canvas! It will be so fun!! And such a blast!! The example will be up on here as well as my Instagram and FB by the evening of August 28. Sign up ASAP so supplies can be purchased. Sign ups will close on Sep 3!

Book flower vase and paper flowers!

This class we will use a recycled book to create a flower vase and the paper to create beautiful roses! There's nothing like creating a beautiful arrangement of flowers that will never wilt. With the instructors knowledge, this class will also help you begin your paper flower creation journey!

Join me while we create the awesome macrame bat!! Not only is October my favorite spooky month but today is my dad's birthday. We have a lot of silly stories about my dad but him being the "Batman" is probably everyone's favorite. Every year on his birthday I try to create something to honor him by because he sure loved my art. This year we honor him as the "Batman".
